“This is a wonderful space, particularly for a couple wanting a launching pad to explore Valletta as well as Malta. We stayed for 5 weeks, and found Martin & Maria to be perfect hosts: kind, considerate, and there when we needed anything. It was our first visit to Malta, and the Grand Harbour was a lovely way to begin. Valletta has glorious restaurants, and nearby Exiles Beach (in Sliema) is a wonderful place to swim. If you stay here, you will not need a car, and we found public transportation (near to the apartment) excellent, with bus service all over the Island. Plus, there’s so much to do in Valletta for those interested in history, etc. I would highly recommend Martin & Maria’s place(s).”

“Stayed for 28 days. This apartment is in a great location. The view every day of the grand harbour was amazing. It is close to everything in Valletta. The ferry to the 3 cities and the Gozo fast ferry are also just down the hill. It’s not too far from the city gate, so it’s easy to get to the bus terminals which will take you anywhere. The apartment was comfortable and newly redone. We would stay here again if we revisit Valletta.”

A faultless apartment in a beautiful quiet location.
The apartment is finished to a really high standard.
The interior is beautiful, a high vaulted ceiling and authentic tiled floor.
Clean minimal lines but with every comfort of home.
The view to Fort St Angelo is uninterrupted and amazing to open the shutters to each morning and to bid goodnight to each evening.
The hosts are amazingly attentive and communicative.
Restaurants, bars, cafes, museums and sites of interest, all a short and beautiful walk away.
I only hope that in leaving this review that there will be space for us to stay next time, as I cannot imagine wanting to stay anywhere else!”

“The apartment is really nice and in super nice location! You just need to open the window covers to see the Grand Harbour! The apartment was clean and had nicely all the basic things you would need. The kitchen has quite minimal equipment. We like to cook and managed pretty well for a week so definitely not bad either. Martin was really helpful and the communication was really good and detailed. The whole stay went very smoothly. Recommended!”

“This apartment was really lovely and comfortable. The view was outstanding and the location was close to many sites and restaurants. There were stairs to climb up or down to get anywhere, but that is true for most places in Valletta. The street was surprisingly busy with people and cars, but the good news is a cab can pick you up right there. The QR codes for appliances were very helpful and Martin was extremely responsive. I would stay here again”

The view from the window, the high ceilings and the amazing bed (with a great mattress) were one of the few things that we loved during our stay! Everything was at a close walking distance, the Bridge Bar, the Baracca gardens are just around the corner. The port where you take the ferry for Gozo and the Three cities is just down the road five minutes away. From the windows you can see the the little gondola-like boats as well as the big cruise ships as the float in and out the port.
All in all, we had an amazing stay and definitely recommend it!!!”

“We had a great stay. The location was perfect. Great view, quiet location, but only a couple of minutes walk to the centre of Valletta.
Apartment had everything we needed, and was very comfortable. Bed was large and comfortable.
Was also a universal electric plug, which was fantastic, and very useful. Also had little QR codes with videos of how to use the various appliances which was a great touch, and very useful!
Communication was really great, and check-in easy. We would definitely stay here again.”
