THE SPACE: The accomodation is served with lift and comes with what you need to relax or be productive: A dedicated folding working desk with blazing speed WIFI access, wired ethernet, USB charging points and universal sockets that keeps you productive and relaxed. A well equipped kitchen inclusive of washer-dryer, toaster, microwave and oven, hob, ironing facilities, individually controlled air conditioning, a sizeable high pressure shower, a double bedroom with memory foam mattress, armchair, 43 inch TV with the possibility to access your Netflix subscription and other channels, etc. Plus your own private open-air top floor patio with astounding shipyard and harbour views, where you can watch the meticulous and intriguing port and shipyard activities with numerous boats, ships, cruiseliners, superyachts. A space where you can spend a huge number of hours in great privacy while dining away or beautifully working in the open air or simply soaking the sun or just sitting back and watching the world go by. GUEST ACCESS: The accomodation is easily accessible from No. 5 Fortini Ta’ Felic. Free non-metered street parking right in front of the accomodation. A parking area is 50 meters up the street. Pharmacies, shops and restaurants are only a 3 minute walk away, while bus stop, groceries, cafe and snack bars a 1 minute walk. The lovely & frequent low-price cruise ferry to Valletta is only a 5 minute walk. In 10 minutes you will be in Valletta plus a nice harbour cruise crossing along the way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

OTHER NOTABLE DETAILS: The room is set within a minimal industrial style design compatible with the port and harbour atmosphere that lies outside. The amazing hustle and bustle of the Harbour and Shipyard is there right in front of you. At times during normal working hours, this interesting activity can generate some noise. However, the double glazing ensures a quite and serene time while still enjoying the beautiful views. This penthouse consists of a total area of 40m2. 1st room consists of a fully equipped kitchen, dining & study area plus private bathroom. 2nd room is a double bedroom that leads to a private open air terrace with Shipyard & Grand Harbour views.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NEIGHBOURHOOD: Typical Maltese neighborhood. You will appreciate the authentic Maltese character and lifestyle of local people in their day-to-day environment. Lovely helpful people and the bustle of Bormla, the Three Cities and ferry to Valletta is only a stone’s throw away. The street is a dead end and almost pedestrian, so you get the best of both worlds. This apartment is literally sitting right on the Harbour front with breathtaking views. It is close to Palumbo shipyard and its superyacht operation, as well as the American University of Malta (AUM). There is unmetered street parking spaces in front of the accommodation.

THE HOST: We simply love meeting my guests. But also do respect very much their privacy and freedom. So we leave it up to them if they would like to interact. We support guests during their stay with any queries through website messaging or email. Although we live away from the property we are available onsite in case there is an issue which warrants our physical presence. We also support guests with knowledge about the neighbourhood, about siteseeing in Malta and how to enjoy this beautiful set of islands. We give practical information to guests about the availability of essentials that the guests may need from the vicinity. We are highly responsive to guest needs and always strive to be reliable.
