The accomodation is easily accessible from No. 5 Fortini Ta’ Felic. There are only a couple of steps at the entrance which takes you straight to your apartment at ground floor level. Free non-metered street parking is close to the accommodation. A parking area is 30 meters up the street. Pharmacies, shops and restaurants are only a 5 minute walk away, while bus stop, groceries, cafe and snack bars a 1 minute walk. The lovely ferry to Valletta is only a 5 minute walk.

Typical authentic Maltese neighborhood. Lovely helpful people and the bustle of Bormla and the Three Cities is only a stone’s throw away. The street is a dead end so you get the best of both worlds. This apartment is literally sitting right in front of the port with the hussle and bassle of shipping activity taking place within the breathtaking harbour views. It is close to Palumbo shipyard and its superyacht operation, as well as the American University of Malta (AUM). In the Three Cities down the road you will find lovely bars and restaurants. The bedroom comes with single mattress memory foam bed and air conditioning and wardrobe with drawers. All this within genuine Maltese heritage setting. A perfect stay for a single traveller or professional. The best thing to do at Savynomad is to wake up to the spectacular sunrise, grab an espresso from the kitchen and enjoy.

GUEST ACCESS: Cove is set in the idyllic pedestrian Battery Street with easy low steps which the Grand Masters of Malta used with their horses to reach their headquarters nearby at Auberge de Castille. The accomodation is easily accessible by car from St Anthony Street (Triq Sant Anton). Free non-metered street parking lies around the corner. During weekdays between 8am and 3pm, parking in the vicinity can be a challenge .

DETAILS TO NOTE: Experience living in a typical traditional Maltese house in Valletta. Due to the way these were built hundreds of years ago, some ceilings can be a bit low. That’s because of the handcrafted Maltese ceiling slabs and wooden beams which create that cosy feeling to it. Floor to Ceiling slabs: 2.2 metres. Floor to Wooden beams: 2 metres.

This home is a restored historic 500 year old building that shows the traditional Maltese architecture and the beauty of the exposed Maltese stone. Also due to the porous nature of Maltese globigerina limestone , the honey-coloured stone walls especially in the bathroom tend to flake a little. Through the stay expect to see some tiny flakes here and there. It’s part of the experience of living in an authentic Maltese property in Valletta.

GETTING AROUND: You don’t need a car if you are staying here. You can easily walk to all of the many restaurants, bars, nightclubs, entertainment spots.
